  • ⅓ cup Pumpkin Puree

  • ½ tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp Ground Ginger
  • ⅛ tsp Ground Nutmeg
  • ⅛ tsp Ground Cloves
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Flaky Sea Salt

Instructions

  1. Melt unsalted butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and nutty.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine granulated sugar, light brown sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla extract. Mix until blended.
  3. Add cooled brown butter and pumpkin puree to the sugar mixture; mix until combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices. Gradually add to wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
  6. Chill dough for at least 30 minutes before baking.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  8. Scoop dough onto prepared sheets; bake for 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
