Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 12 oz linguine pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (to tie the flavor together)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente, about 9-10 minutes. Reserve half a cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
  2. Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak tips for about 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  4. Lower heat and add butter; sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and whole milk, then add cream cheese and mix until smooth.
  6. Add Parmesan, mozzarella, and more Cajun seasoning; stir until melted into a creamy sauce.
  7. Toss cooked linguine in the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency.
  8. Serve topped with seared steak tips and garnish with fresh parsley.
