  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (regular or gluten-free)
  • 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 4 tablespoons melted vegan butter (for cinnamon swirl)
  • â…“ cup light brown sugar (for cinnamon swirl)
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon (for cinnamon swirl)
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 2 tablespoons melted vegan butter (for frosting)
  • 2 oz softened vegan cream cheese (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together mashed bananas, melted vegan butter, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Combine baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, flour, and oats into the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, create the cinnamon swirl by mixing melted vegan butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  5. Pour half of the banana batter into the loaf pan, then layer half of the cinnamon mixture on top. Repeat with the remaining batter and swirl mixture.
  6. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let cool completely before frosting with a mixture of powdered sugar, melted vegan butter, and softened vegan cream cheese.
