  • 1 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat softened butter and both sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time and mix in the vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Incorporate cornstarch, baking soda, and salt into the mixture.
  5. Gradually add flour, mixing until just combined; avoid overmixing for soft cookies.
  6. Stir in milk chocolate chips evenly into the dough.
  7. For large cookies, scoop out 1/3 cup of dough onto the prepared baking sheet; for regular-sized cookies, use a medium ice cream scoop.
  8. Bake large cookies for about 10–11 minutes or until edges turn golden brown; bake regular cookies for about 8 minutes.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
