  • 2 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1.5 cups white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 12 fluid ounces lemon-lime soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cut each apple into 8 wedges.
  3. Roll each apple wedge in a triangle of crescent roll dough, starting from the smallest end, and seal tightly.
  4. Place the rolled dumplings in the greased baking dish.
  5. Melt butter in a small saucepan over low heat; stir in sugar and cinnamon until combined.
  6. Pour the butter mixture over the dumplings, then pour soda on top.
  7. Bake until golden brown, about 35 to 45 minutes.
