  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions in salted boiling water. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season sliced chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Add butter and minced garlic to the same skillet; sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and add cubed Velveeta, stirring until melted. Mix in shredded mozzarella and Parmesan until smooth.
  6. Toss the cooked tortellini into the sauce; add reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
  7. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for about 12 minutes to warm through.
