  • 10 cloves garlic
  • 2 ½ cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Salt/Pepper
  • â…“ cup flour
  • 1 beef bouillon cube (or 1 tsp better than bouillon)
  • 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce (can sub Worcestershire sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon EACH: Dried thyme, mustard powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasonings. Dredge in flour until evenly coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and brown the chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until golden brown. Stir in flour for about a minute.
  4. Gradually whisk in chicken broth, followed by bouillon cube and seasonings. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and optional Parmesan cheese; simmer until thickened.
