  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Break apart with a spoon.
  2. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet; cook until the onion is translucent (about 3-5 minutes).
  3. Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker. Add kidney beans, black beans, corn, diced tomatoes (with juice), beef broth, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  5. Once finished cooking, stir well and check seasoning before serving.
