Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen homestyle meatballs
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (smoky or bold)
  • 1 cup grape jelly (or raspberry, cherry, or pineapple preserves)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Spray the inside of your slow cooker with cooking oil to prevent sticking. Place the frozen meatballs in an even layer at the bottom.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce and grape jelly until smooth. Add optional ingredients if desired.
  3. Pour the prepared sauce over the meatballs and gently coat each one.
  4. Cook on Low for 4–5 hours or High for 2–3 hours, avoiding lifting the lid during cooking. If needed, cook uncovered on High for an additional 20 minutes to thicken the sauce.
