  • 1 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 8 ounces raspberries

Instructions

  1. Combine heavy cream, whole milk, and 1 cup of sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar dissolves, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Cool completely.
  2. Blend raspberries with remaining sugar, strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds.
  3. Pour cooled base into an ice cream maker and churn until it reaches soft serve consistency.
  4. Divide the mixture; mix one half with orange juice and food coloring, the other with lime juice and green food coloring.
  5. Layer mixtures alternately in a container and freeze for 4-6 hours until firm.
