  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • â…“ cup Dutch processed cocoa powder
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

  1. In a stand mixer or large bowl, beat the butter, white sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually add the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. Mix on low speed until just combined.
  4. Fold in the white chocolate chips gently. Cover and chill the dough for 45 to 60 minutes.
  5. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Scoop two tablespoons of dough onto each sheet, spacing them two inches apart. Bake for about 10 to 11 minutes.
