  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme or 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Peel large carrots and cut them into even-sized sticks; baby carrots can be left whole.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, thyme, and optional red pepper flakes.
