Ingredients

  • Yukon Gold potatoes (or red-skinned potatoes)
  • Heavy cream
  • Butter
  • Fresh herbs (thyme or sage)
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • Better Than Bouillon Roasted Garlic Base
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle some grated parmesan cheese on the bottom.
  3. In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream, butter, thyme (or sage), salt, black pepper, and garlic base. Heat until butter melts and steam rises.
  4. Thinly slice the potatoes using a mandoline slicer. Arrange them in the baking dish in a fanned pattern.
  5. Pour the infused cream mixture over the arranged potatoes evenly.
  6. Cover with greased aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes until golden brown.
