  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup green peas, frozen
  • Black pepper, to season

Instructions

  1. Dice chicken thighs into 1-inch pieces and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear chicken pieces until browned (4–5 minutes).
  3. Transfer seared chicken to the slow cooker; sprinkle with flour, thyme, rosemary, and salt; stir to coat.
  4. Add garlic, onion, carrots, potatoes, chicken broth, and bay leaf; mix gently.
  5. Cook on low for 7–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours until vegetables are tender.
  6. In the last 10–15 minutes, stir in frozen peas and milk; adjust thickness as desired.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
