  • 1 cup milk or water
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 oz candy melts
  • White nonpareils or colorful sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (162°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, oil, milk, and eggs. Mix until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan and bake until a toothpick comes out clean (about 25-30 minutes).
  3. Allow the cake to cool completely before crumbling it into a bowl using a mixer or by hand.
  4. In another bowl, mix butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Combine with the crumbled cake until well mixed.
  5. Roll mixture into balls about 1¼ inches in diameter and freeze for 15 minutes.
  6. Melt a small amount of candy melts and dip lollipop sticks into it before inserting them halfway into each ball. Chill for another 15 minutes.
  7. Dip each pop into melted candy coating and remove excess by tapping gently.
  8. Decorate immediately with sprinkles before the coating sets.
