  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce (optional for extra flavor)
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds, toasted
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, a pinch
  • 2 scallions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp butter (optional for richness)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your wok or large skillet over high heat. Add vegetable oil to coat the pan.
  2. Quickly add minced garlic and grated ginger; stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Toss in sliced zucchini, yellow squash, and mushrooms; stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly charred.
  4. Season with salt and pepper, drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring continuously.
  5. Cook until vegetables are tender-crisp; add red pepper flakes and scallions for extra flavor.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with toasted sesame seeds.
