Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces lean steak (top sirloin or loin tip), sliced into thin strips
  • 1 pound broccolini (or broccoli), cut into 2" sections
  • 1/3 cup coconut aminos
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch or arrowroot
  • Olive or coconut oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, coat the sliced steak with cornstarch or arrowroot and a pinch of black pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook steak in batches for 60-90 seconds per side until browned; set aside on a plate.
  3. Add broccoli to the same skillet and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until crisp-tender.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together coconut aminos, garlic, ginger, and pepper. Pour this sauce into the skillet, stirring to combine with the broccoli.
  5. Return the cooked steak to the pan and stir to coat everything in sauce. Allow sauce to thicken for about 3-5 minutes before serving.
