  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • 3 tablespoons avocado oil
  • Juice from ½ lemon

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken thighs into strips against the grain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix onion powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, crushed red pepper, and turmeric.
  3. Add avocado oil and lemon juice to the spices; combine well.
  4. Place chicken in a Ziploc bag, pour marinade over it, and mix until evenly coated. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight.
  5. Thread marinated chicken onto pre-soaked skewers.
  6. Preheat grill to 400°F (204°C) and grill kebabs over indirect heat for about 7-10 minutes per side until fully cooked.
